April marked a significant milestone for Success Tutoring with the grand opening of our North Lakes centre in Queensland. Grand Opening: A Resounding Success!
Our grand opening was more than just a ribbon-cutting event, it was a celebration of community, education, and the future. We were honoured to welcome:

Simon Patmore OAM (Dual Paralympian and gold medalist)
Despite a downpour, spirits were high as guests gathered to officially open the centre and even got a chance to hold Simon Patmore’s gold medal from the 2018 Winter Paralympics in South Korea.
That evening, we hosted a community fundraiser for the Food For Kids Program, which is an initiative that supports over 1000 local school children in Moreton Bay. With great music from local talent LeviX and enthusiastic support, we raised $500 to contribute to this worthy cause.
Spotlight On Simon Patmore: A True Inspiration
Simon Patmore’s journey from track sprinter to snowboarding champion embodies resilience and adaptability. As Australia’s first male to win medals in both the Summer and Winter Paralympics, his story continues to inspire our students. Simon is not just an athlete, he’s a speaker and mentor who encourages young people to believe in themselves, overcome adversity and aim high.
Simon’s message of perseverance, courage, and adaptability resonated deeply with attendees. His journey from track and field to snowboarding exemplifies the value we instil in our students: never give up, embrace change, and believe in yourself.
